- MINI LIGHTS, MOON LIGHTS, FUTURE STARS AND MORNING STARSare our comprehensive recreation classes for girls. The four classes are similar in content, but vary in age requirement, days and times they are offered, as well as the length of the class. Each class provides instruction in floor, bars, beam and vault as well as our long trampoline. Younger children all work on the same skills while older girls may work on the pieces of apparatus at their own, varying, levels.
ORBITERS CLASSES are our comprehensive recreation classes for boys. In addition to the floor, bars, vault, and long trampoline, boys also work on the rings and parallel bars.

- TUMBLING/TRAMPOLINE CLASS provides boys and girls with instruction on both the rectangular trampoline and the long trampoline. They will also develop tumbling skills that can be carried over into other sports such as martial arts, snowboarding, skiing, and cheerleading. Students work at their own pace, building upon basic trampoline moves; they also spend time working on the floor to develop more advanced trampoline skills.
- ADULT GYMNASTICS CLASSES provide mature gymnasts with a warm-up, followed by the opportunity to work on specific pieces of apparatus. Gymnasts work at their own pace and walk-ins are always welcome.

For all classes listing kindergarten as a grade requirement, children must be enrolled in a school kindergarten program or be five years old by September 1. There are three recreational class sessions each academic year: September to December; January to mid-April; and mid-April to June. At the end of each session, a participation award is given to each gymnast. Gymnasts who attend classes continuously from September through June will receive a trophy. Gymnasts who attend the last session of the year (April through June), but are not eligible for a trophy, receive a special year-end award. It is Northern Lights Gymnastics policy that NO video taking is allowed in the gym at any time. Pictures are permissible; however, please DO NOT tag any child besides your own in the picture.
